The fuck is wrong wiv party-land?

Or, at least, the Zoo. My favourite hangout for many a year, even the very club I started clubbing at, it is going downhill fast. Could this be a localised cyclic occurence of people are staying in instead of going out? Or have all the kids now suddenly come into possession of automobiles, gas money and time to hit the road to other places? The big clubs in Hasselt don't seem to suffer. Indeed, main culture entertainment is as popular and outgoing as ever. Not so the Zoo. Like a rats leaving the sinking ship less and less people show up because they know there won't be a crowd.. Is this how venues die?
There's more to a venue than just the location, there's the intricate social networks of the party peeps as well. And those may be the seed of a new club... if managed wisely. To keep the club going till only 3 people show up is to lose those networks to random distribution. For the seed of the Zoo to live, the Zoo must die.

Dirty Sneakers 04*05*2005

First of all let me state that it is not a god idea to cut on painkillers and sleeping pills when you live above a bar where the staff keeps the PA turned up to 11 after hours. And their music choice is... bad.

Secondly, those of us that suffer neath the catholic yoke have a day off on thursday, so wednesday is teh partey! Three cheers for the lord savior, his inquisition, and days off in general!

Now the partying is taken care of, in fact may once more be overprovided, but I've decided to keep it nice and easy, so I'm going to the Rumba for electro, can't find the flyer or anything online but there you go... Breathe. Otherwise you can go to the Silo in Leuven to check out the fantastic Golfox amongst others, and like I said there's plenty of partying to go around. In Genk the Mines provide an interesting venue for techno, and in Brussels you can find electro at the VUB cultuur cafe...
