Old trickery

http://www.rockbox.org are putting various apps on a Iriver mp3 player, including a gameboy emulator. I've never played anything other than advance wars on the platform, so I won't be picking it up.
The interesting thing is that it's another group of people who want to stray from the corporate-outlined path. The corporate world, bound by laws to protect copyright, its fear of lawsuits and plain pigheadedness, is unable to provide what customers really want. Aside from disproving several dogmas of neo-liberal and oother enomocic theories, its also very hip, new and underground. That is, as long as you ignore the legacy of radio pirates, phreakers and all others who fought 'the man' on the electronic frontier.
